Rick Grover became Executive Director of Covenant Connections in July 2025 after the death of founder Alan Ahlgrim. Alan had chosen Rick to be the ministry’s next leader, never expecting the transition to happen so suddenly.
Rick has served as the Lead Pastor at East 91st Street Christian Church in Indianapolis for more than a decade. He has been part of Covenant Connections from the beginning as an early adopter of the vision and one of the ministry’s most committed and productive group leaders.
Rick continues to lead Covenant Groups and is starting his fourth group in 2026. His focus is on soul care for greater spiritual and emotional health.
Rick is married to Laura, and they have three grown children.
